We are keeping the first year simple: clear assignments, clear age designations, and completion tracked by assignment rather than exact minutes.
Veritas Athletics depends on well-run home events, prepared facilities, welcoming gates, clean spaces, and reliable support behind the scenes. Stewardship gives athletes and families a structured way to help carry that work together.
This is not just volunteer coverage. It is part of forming athletes and families in gratitude, responsibility, and service to the broader athletic community.
All middle school and high school athletics families participate during the school year.
Each athlete completes 2 assignments. Each family completes 1 family assignment.
Completion is tracked by assignment. Families do not need to calculate partial minutes.
Families may serve at any approved athletics event or service opportunity, not only their sport.
Select an open assignment that fits the listed age and role designation.
Arrive at the report time and check in with the event manager or athletics representative.
Veritas Athletics records the completed assignment internally.

Each middle school and high school athlete completes 2 Athletic Stewardship assignments. Each family completes 1 family assignment during the school year.
Stewardship helps families and athletes share responsibility for the events, facilities, and behind-the-scenes work that make the athletics program stronger.
Working an athletic event, serving at an Athletic Service Day, helping with an approved camp or clinic, or completing an approved department support job can count.
No. Veritas Athletics tracks completion by assignment, not by exact minutes. Some jobs may run a little shorter or longer depending on the event.
A parent, guardian, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or another designated family representative may complete the family assignment when the job designation allows it.
Athlete assignments are intended for athletes unless Veritas Athletics approves a substitution. Family assignments should be completed by a designated family representative.
Yes. Families and athletes may complete approved assignments at any Veritas Athletics event or service opportunity during the year.
Yes, when each sibling is signed up for a separate needed role and the assignment is appropriate for that student's age.
Please check each assignment label before signing up. Some roles are for middle school athletes, some are for high school athletes, and some are reserved for adult family representatives.
Contact Veritas Athletics as soon as possible so the assignment can be reopened or reassigned. Missed assignments need to be rescheduled.
